Color grading and motion
Step 1
Select a video or image, open Color, and add Color grading. Adjust exposure first, then temperature and tint. Use contrast, highlights and shadows to balance the image.
Step 2
Avoid pushing saturation too far. Compare your changes with Bypass grade; Reset grade restores the neutral settings. Presets are starting points, not automatic corrections for every clip.
Step 3
To animate a property, put the playhead inside the clip and tap its diamond icon. Move to a later time and change its value. Add another keyframe if needed.
Step 4
Open Animation to inspect numeric channels and change easing. The property speed graph describes the motion of that property, not changes in the source video’s playback speed.
